Covington Scholarship

Each year the Covington Scholarship is awarded to one graduate from East Robertson High School to help them further their education in college. The scholarship amount is $1000 and is awarded upon completing one semester of college coursework. All seniors of East Robertson are eligible to apply. The application must be accompanied by a biographical essay documenting the life of someone living in Eastern Robertson County.

The scholarship is named in honor of James and Ruby Covington who were two of the founding members of the Heritage Commission.

The Heritage Commission accepts donations for the scholarship at any time, but the Christmas Tour of Homes serves as the fund raiser for the scholarship.
