Historical Quarterly
The Cross Plains Heritage Commission has published The Eastern Robertson County Historical Quarterly four times a year since the Fall of 1994. Your membership fees automatically subscribe you to this periodical.
We encourage you to submit material and photos of historical and genealogical interest for publication. Articles or manuscripts should be concise, well-documented, written legibly or typewritten on 8 1/2" X 11" white paper. You may also submit work electronically in Word or PDF format. Amy material submitted for publication is subject to editing. Persons submitting material are responsible for content. Submissions should be dated and include the writers name, address, email address, and daytime phone number.
It is also possible to scan and duplicate some old photos and documents for publication. We review these on a case by case basis since it is very hard to reproduce extremely faded pictures. We are interested in publishing as many images as possible, and your photos will be returned to you immediately after scanning. If you scan the pictures yourself please scan at a resolution of 300 dpi. Also, make sure you turn the de-screen setting on for newspaper clippings.
